The photo here was the beginning of the year when I was traveling with two friends in Frankfurt to take photos. Frankly, I was not very motivated, and most of all I would again want to use home, but I got the time, with the two to even again to chat with them. It was a good time. Not out of photographer's perspective, rather in terms of the talks. I had just photographed Frankfurt to often at this point. And besides, it was freezing cold.
Unfortunately I had not really suitable footwear so then after an hour running both of my toes were numb by the cold. Since then no warm-up helped in Starbucks. But the one photo here but I can take. It was just the beginning. The motive was not foreign to me, since I have photographed the main at this location several times. This time I made a black and white photo of it, because I think it's the smooth structures as created for it.
And even if I have photographed here many times before, somehow loses its appeal not Frankfurt. I like this city very easily.
The day was cold, gray and clear ....

I must confess that I am now the picture is not particularly exciting find. But what turns me on is the total water extremely sharp edge on the left. This is really fascinating.
Thanks Paddy, I think I'm biased as the Frankfurt anyway, simply because I love Frankfurt and Frankfurt, call each photo as well would
The sharp edge is the way, no water at the water edge. This is the edge of the concrete bridge on which I stood. The water begins as only a few centimeters deep. On flickr I have a bigger version with 1600 × 1067 set, as we see it a little better: http://www.flickr.com/photos/blognotizde/4332976315/sizes/o/
